Golden morning mist rolling across Tamborine Mountain's forested ridgeline

Our Story

A place apart,
made for slowing down

Tambaridge sits quietly on Tamborine Mountain, where the air is cool, the views are vast, and nothing asks you to hurry.

Five suites. One mountain. Endless views.

Tambaridge Bed and Breakfast offers five beautifully themed and decorated spa suites, each with its own private balcony and sweeping views that stretch all the way to the Brisbane skyline and beyond.

We are a small, personal property. That is entirely the point. Every guest is looked after properly, every suite is thought through carefully, and every morning starts with mountain air and a view that makes you pause.

Set amid national parks, cellar doors, galleries, restaurants, and rainforest walks, Tambaridge is far enough from the city to feel like a genuine escape, and close enough that getting here is never a chore.

One hour from Brisbane.
A world away.

Tamborine Mountain sits at the edge of the Gold Coast hinterland, reached in under an hour from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. The road up winds through tall eucalyptus and opens onto one of South East Queensland's most loved mountain communities.

Every suite is its own retreat

Each of our five suites is individually themed and decorated. No two are the same. All have a spa bath, plush linen, and a private balcony facing the valley.

Private Spa Baths

Each suite features a generous in-room spa bath. After a day exploring the mountain, there is nothing quite like soaking with the balcony door open and the valley breeze drifting in.

Your Own Private Balcony

Step outside into the mountain air without sharing it with anyone. Every suite opens onto a private balcony designed for lingering, whether that is with morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or simply the view.

Views to the Skyline

On clear days the Brisbane skyline sits on the horizon. At night, the distant lights of the Gold Coast trace a soft glow below the ridge. The view changes with every season and every hour of the day.

Tamborine Mountain on your doorstep

The mountain has its own rhythm. National parks, cellar doors, galleries, and cafes sit within minutes of the property, and most of it is best discovered slowly on foot or by car with no particular plan.

National Parks & Walks

Witches Falls, Cedar Creek Falls, and the rainforest circuits of the national park are all close by. The trails are well marked and genuinely beautiful.

Wineries & Cellar Doors

Tamborine Mountain has a small but respected wine region. Spend an afternoon moving between cellar doors without the need for a long drive back to a city hotel.

Bright, airy art gallery with paintings on white walls and handmade crafts on display

Galleries & Boutiques

Gallery Walk is lined with working artists' studios, handmade goods, and independent shops. There is always something worth stopping for.

Restaurants & Dining

From relaxed country cafes to candlelit dinners with views, the mountain's dining scene is a genuine reason to visit in its own right.
